HOW CAN I CONFIGURE FIREFOX AND CHROME FOR AIRTEL LIVE FREE BROWSING


your Mozilla firefox browser and click on menu at the top right corner
Then click on the option from the drop down menu
Now click on “Advanced”
Once in advance, click on “Network” and select “Settings”
The connection Settings window should pops out now,
tick “Use System Proxy Settings” and Click “OK” to save the new proxy setting.


SETTINGS FOR CHROME BROWSER

Nigeria Telcos to Increase Data Price Effective From Dec 1st 2016

The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) has mandated all Nigeria Telcos including MTN, Etisalat, Airtel and Glo to increase the price of data plans beginning from December 1st, 2016. We were taken by surprise when we got this info in time like this that we deserve better. The recession is already consuming many, and implementing this directive will only make life harder for Nigerians.

I do not think this is what we need now, especially in this period so many people including students are finding life so difficult because of the economic situation in the country that has to cause many schools to increase fees. How can the people from poor family survive? How can they be subscribing for data to carry out researches and assignments? Our government does not think in that part. They just think in one direction.

Recently, the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefieli proposed taxes on phone calls that exceed 3 minutes. This is sad; NCC believes that this is one of the ways they can generate revenues for the Government. They know that we cannot do without buying data, so they decided to mandate all Telcos to increase their data price. Hmm!

Anyways, we should just buckle up to pay higher starting December 1st, 2016. You should not be surprised N1000 that use to get you 3.2GB of data before will be history and will start to get you just 500MB.
